How long does training take?
Setting up a Portrait Profile usually takes about 5 minutes from upload to your first preview portrait. We'll send a notification when it's ready.
How many selfies do I need?
Ten. More variety in angles, lighting, and expressions means better results. Avoid sunglasses, hats, heavy filters, and photos with multiple people.
What happens right after training completes?
You'll get one free welcome portrait that previews the quality of your Portrait Profile. Subscribe to Aura Pro to unlock it and start generating across all six themes.
How many portraits do I get?
The Aura Pro Monthly subscription ($14.99/month) includes 30 portraits per month. Need more in a single month? Buy a one-time top-up for $4.99 — that adds 10 extra portraits to your balance.
How many themes are there?
Six photographer-designed scenes: Studio, Minimalist, Office, Window Light, Library, and Loft. Each is tuned for studio-quality output, with controls for framing and expression on every portrait.
Does my subscription auto-renew?
Yes, monthly. Cancel anytime in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. You'll keep access until the end of the billing period.
Can I delete my Portrait Profile?
Yes. In the app: Account → Delete account. This immediately wipes your Portrait Profile, selfies, generated portraits, and credit balance.
Can I refresh my Portrait Profile with new photos?
Yes. From the My Portraits tab, tap the menu icon (top right) and choose "Upload new selfies." A refresh costs $3.99 and replaces your existing Portrait Profile with a new one trained on your latest selfies.
Can I use the portraits commercially?
Yes. You own the portraits you generate and may use them for any lawful purpose, including LinkedIn, press kits, marketing, or commercial work.
Do you watermark portraits?
The free welcome portrait is watermarked "PREVIEW" until you subscribe. Once you subscribe, the watermark is removed permanently and every portrait you generate after that is unwatermarked, high-resolution, and yours.
I'm having a billing issue.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. To cancel or request a refund, go to iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
The portraits don't look like me.
This usually means the training selfies didn't have enough variety. Refresh your Portrait Profile with a fresh batch — 10 well-lit, front-facing photos with varied expressions. Email us if it persists.
